Battle of Isandlwana

The Battle of Isandlwana was the first major encounter in the Anglo-Zulu War between the British Empire and the Zulu Kingdom. The British army were equipped with riffles and guns, meanwhile the Zulu’s had spears and cow-hide shields. At the end of the battle the Zulu kingdom emerged victorious.
